These fellowships are offered by the Council of Intellectual Security Scholars in collaboration with Al-Wefaq International University and the Egyptian Officially Accredited Training Center, aiming to develop the research and scientific competencies of youth and professionals across Africa, enabling them to study and counter extremism and deviant ideologies, thereby contributing to safer and more stable African societies.
Details:
1. Primary Objective:
To prepare specialized academic and professional cadres capable of studying extremism and proposing practical solutions to counter it in diverse African communities.
2. Fellowship Standards:
Advanced academic and research programs combined with practical field training, following the latest international methodologies for combating intellectual extremism.
3. Target Groups:
Researchers, academics, practitioners in the security and intellectual fields, and young policy makers.
4. Duration:
Short- and long-term programs allowing participants to progress from foundational training to advanced expertise in intellectual security.
5. Fellowship Outcomes:
Producing scientific research and studies that enhance understanding of the causes of extremism.
Implementing awareness and training programs in universities and community institutions.
Building a network of experts capable of providing preventive and strategic solutions against deviant ideas.
